Warranties
Captain Dave, Inc. provides warranty service for Voodoo Tactical brand products that we have sold. A copy of the Voodoo Tactical one-year limited warranty is provided with each item sold and is available on request.
Other brands and products sold may have manufacturer's warranties. In such case, we will note the existence of a warranty in the web site. All warranty claims for these products should be made to the respective manufacturer.
All others items are sold as is, with no warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Captain Dave, Inc. specifically disclaims any responsibility or liability for incidental or consequential damages.
Health & Safety Claims
The FTC Act requires that health- and safety-related claims, such as claims that a gas mask, regulator or protective clothing can protect against contaminants, including nuclear, biological and chemical contaminants, must be supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence. Captain Dave Inc. makes no claims as to the effectiveness of any of the gas masks, respirators, water filters, or protective clothing it sells, however the manufacturers do claim the effectiveness of the protection their products offer. Any claims that an item is suitable for a specific use, or that an item meets or exceeds military, EPA, or other standards is based on the manufacturer or distributor's claim to us. We have no means to scientifically prove or disprove such claims.
Survival Products Disclaimer
Everyone's survival situation is different, and no one can accurately predict what will be needed to survive a natural or man-made disaster or emergency. Survival related products sold by Captain Dave, Inc. are intended to increase your odds of survival and/or your personal level of comfort in an emergency situation but are not guaranteed to do so. In some cases, the use of survival supplies and equipment may require a minimum level of training or a degree of physical fitness. It is the user's responsibility to obtain the prerequisite training and to ensure that they have the appropriate level of fitness for any task they undertake.
Restricted Items
Certain items that we sell, including but not limited to knives, gun parts and accessories, crossbows, sling shots, law enforcement equipment, batons, saps, Billy clubs, night sticks, handcuffs, badges, and pepper spray, may be restricted in some states or municipalities.
It is the buyer's responsibility to know federal, state and local laws and to ensure that items they purchase are legal to own in their locale. Consult a lawyer, your local law enforcement agencies, and/or the appropriate local, state or federal agency for further information regarding laws in your area.
By making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that there are no laws prohibiting you from owning the items you are purchasing.
Export Restrictions
Due to export restrictions and ITAR, we will not ship the following items outside the United States. We regret that this means that these items cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses.
• Any plastic or metal part that replaces a part on a firearm, attaches to a firearm, or would become part of a firearm.
• Any scope or optic that attaches to a firearm.
• Any night vision device
• Gas masks and related protective devices
• Pepper spray
• Handcuffs
We are not lawyers and do not provide legal advice. It is your responsibility to be sure of your laws and import/customs requirements. We do not provide refunds for items that are intercepted, confiscated, or destroyed by customs or other law enforcement agencies and personnel.

Sales Tax
The corporate offices and warehouse of Captain Dave, Inc. are located in North Carolina. Orders shipped to North Carolina destinations or picked up at our warehouse will be charged Durham county sales tax rates. Business and government buyers who are making tax-free purchases must provide appropriate documentation of their tax free status BEFORE purchases are made. No refunds of sales taxes will be given upon completion of the purchase.
